Dear BBIA Members,
I’m happy to announce that the 2024 BBIA Annual Convention will take place May 20th-22nd in Sedona, Arizona. Our convention will be held at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock. We’ll send the official brochure in the coming weeks.
As Brian mentioned last year, selecting a convention site is getting harder and harder. As long as this process took, I think we’d still be looking if it wasn’t for the help of the BPAA. I would like to thank Frank DeSocio, Frank stepped in and allowed us to utilize the skills of Justin Moore. With Justin’s experience he was able to assist Barb and I in the process. Huge thanks to Frank, Justin, and the BPAA for their help.
I also have to thank Barb Peltz. Everyone knows Barb has big shoes to fill. Then for a convention site search to be her first order of business! I feel she’s proved herself and she’ll be a valuable asset to BBIA. Barb, thank you for your help and dedication to BBIA. I can’t wait for all our members to get a chance to know you!
Alright, the venue… We’ve been through a lot since we last met. This is why I feel the beauty and tranquility of this site spoke to me. We all need to take a second to breathe and look around. I hope we all take this time to appreciate everything our industry has to offer and reflect on all the memories we’ve made.
The structure of the 2024 convention will remain the same with a Tuesday start for opening session and the manufacturer and distributor one-on-one meetings. Once we have confirmed the attendance, we will put together a master schedule for the meetings.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the 2024 BBIA Annual Convention under the stars of Sedona.
